Dispatcher 1 – The Wood County Sheriff’s Office has on opening for Dispatcher 1 to operate radio, telephone, computer, and other communication equipment including the 9-1-1 system.  Interested candidates should go to www.nationaltestingnetwork.com and sign up for the Emergency Communications/ECOMM test.  Potential candidates will be selected based on the test results for further consideration in the hiring process.

Starting Salary:  $16.10 per hour

Minimum Qualifications:  High School Diploma or GED, No prior felony arrests, no misdemeanor arrests in the past 5 years, valid drivers license.  Keyboarding skills will be tested for speed and accuracy for selected candidates during the later stages of the hiring process.
